Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator owns the flow of inventory from suppliers → warehouses → Amazon → customers. This role requires strong Amazon FBA experience, advanced spreadsheet capability, and the ability to problem-solve logistics challenges before they affect sales or account health.
This position starts part-time but is intentionally structured to grow into full-time as responsibilities expand.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon FBA Logistics (Core Focus)
Create, track, and optimize Amazon FBA shipments
Manage carton labeling, case pack compliance, and SKU-level accuracy
Resolve Amazon logistics issues by opening, disputing, and escalating cases with proper documentation
Monitor stranded, reserved, and inbound statuses
Keep account health strong by proactively addressing shipment discrepancies
Identify cost-saving opportunities in storage, prep, freight, and shipment strategies
Inventory Forecasting & Planning
Maintain forecasting spreadsheets that track sales velocity and restock needs
Predict when new orders must be placed with Chinese suppliers
Recommend reorder quantities based on velocity, seasonality, and lead times
Alert the Operations Manager early when inventory risks arise (low stock, slow movers, storage limits)
3PL & Warehouse Coordination
Communicate with 3PL partners for receiving, pallet counts, and outgoing shipments
Ensure carton dimensions, weights, and SKU data are always accurate
Resolve discrepancies in warehouse receiving or shipping
Maintain clean documentation for all inbound and outbound movements
Supplier & Freight Management
Track production timelines, freight schedules, and ETAs from China
Review freight quotes and recommend cost-effective options
Ensure packaging meets Amazon and international shipping requirements
Maintain PO logs, invoices, customs documents, and shipping records
Data, Reporting & Optimization
Own all logistics spreadsheets — inventory, cost analysis, forecasting, carton specs, etc.
Build formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards as needed
Analyze data to reduce supply chain waste, unnecessary spend, and inefficiencies
Suggest ways to streamline shipping, storage, and restock workflows

Requirements
MUST-HAVE Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Amazon & Logistics Expertise
Experience with Amazon FBA or 3PL operations (required)
Deep understanding of SKU management, carton labeling, case packs, ASIN packaging rules
Prior logistics, operations, or supply chain experience
Experience disputing Amazon logistics issues (lost units, incorrect counts, overages, shortages)
Must be able to build strong cases with proof (photos, BOLs, intake docs, timestamps)
Data & Forecasting Skills
Extensive Excel or Google Sheets experience — MUST know formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and troubleshooting
Able to build forecasting sheets based on velocity, trends, and inventory windows
Must understand cost analysis (storage costs, shipping quotes, CBM optimization)
Problem-Solving & Optimization Mindset
Ability to identify money-saving logistics improvements (FBA storage, freight options, carton optimization)
Comfortable analyzing multiple data points to recommend smarter operational choices
Strong attention to detail — small errors have big consequences in Amazon logistics
