Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator owns the flow of inventory from suppliers → warehouses → Amazon → customers. This role requires strong Amazon FBA experience, advanced spreadsheet capability, and the ability to problem-solve logistics challenges before they affect sales or account health.

This position starts part-time but is intentionally structured to grow into full-time as responsibilities expand.

Key Responsibilities
Amazon FBA Logistics (Core Focus)

Create, track, and optimize Amazon FBA shipments

Manage carton labeling, case pack compliance, and SKU-level accuracy

Resolve Amazon logistics issues by opening, disputing, and escalating cases with proper documentation

Monitor stranded, reserved, and inbound statuses

Keep account health strong by proactively addressing shipment discrepancies

Identify cost-saving opportunities in storage, prep, freight, and shipment strategies

Inventory Forecasting & Planning

Maintain forecasting spreadsheets that track sales velocity and restock needs

Predict when new orders must be placed with Chinese suppliers

Recommend reorder quantities based on velocity, seasonality, and lead times

Alert the Operations Manager early when inventory risks arise (low stock, slow movers, storage limits)

3PL & Warehouse Coordination

Communicate with 3PL partners for receiving, pallet counts, and outgoing shipments

Ensure carton dimensions, weights, and SKU data are always accurate

Resolve discrepancies in warehouse receiving or shipping

Maintain clean documentation for all inbound and outbound movements

Supplier & Freight Management

Track production timelines, freight schedules, and ETAs from China

Review freight quotes and recommend cost-effective options

Ensure packaging meets Amazon and international shipping requirements

Maintain PO logs, invoices, customs documents, and shipping records

Data, Reporting & Optimization

Own all logistics spreadsheets — inventory, cost analysis, forecasting, carton specs, etc.

Build formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards as needed

Analyze data to reduce supply chain waste, unnecessary spend, and inefficiencies

Suggest ways to streamline shipping, storage, and restock workflows
