Job Type: Part Time
Paid hours per week: Less than 20 hours
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records in Xero
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment reminders
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks
- Support payroll processing (if required)
- Track expenses and ensure proper documentation
Administrative Support
- Manage emails, files, and general correspondence
- Perform data entry and maintain records
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and follow-ups
- Assist in preparing reports and spreadsheets
- Provide support on ad-hoc administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Must-have: Proven experience using Xero
- 1–3 years bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Good written and verbal communication skills
