Xero Bookkeeper (AU)

Job Type: Part Time

Paid hours per week: Less than 20 hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Xero
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment reminders
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks
  • Support payroll processing (if required)
  • Track expenses and ensure proper documentation

Administrative Support

  • Manage emails, files, and general correspondence
  • Perform data entry and maintain records
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and follow-ups
  • Assist in preparing reports and spreadsheets
  • Provide support on ad-hoc administrative tasks

 Qualifications

  • Must-have: Proven experience using Xero
  • 1–3 years bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
