Work Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sydney Time with an hour unpaid break (8 hours per day / 40 hours per week)

Job Description:

As a full-time remote Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the vital link between patients and our esteemed colorectal surgeons. Utilizing state-of-the-art practice management software, you’ll manage a high-volume of patient interactions, appointments, and administrative tasks. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. You’ll be an integral part of a healthcare team that values efficiency, professionalism, and compassionate service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, handling inquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • Manage a complex appointment schedule using Clinic to Cloud software
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality
  • Process payments and assist with basic billing tasks
  • Collaborate with on-site staff to streamline practice operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service, enhancing patient experience
  • Assist with administrative tasks to support practice growth

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in medical reception or healthcare administration
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Tech-savvy with ability to quickly master new software systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen attention to detail, especially in data entry and record-keeping
  • Understanding of medical terminology, particularly related to colorectal health
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team
  • Availability during Australian business hours
  • Comfortable with the possibility of assisting with additional administrative tasks as needed
