Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily financial transaction records across multiple business locations
- Perform bank reconciliations using secure read-only account access
- Generate and follow up on client invoices to ensure timely payment
- Process accounts receivable and manage payroll functions
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Handle light administrative tasks to supplement core bookkeeping duties
- Work within a secure, HIPAA-compliant remote environment
- Collaborate directly with the business owner on financial planning and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven bookkeeping experience with proven track record
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (primary accounting software used)
- Strong knowledge of general accounting practices and principles
- Experience with financial transaction recording and bank reconciliation
