As the team expands from 3 to 6+ members over the next year, this role offers the chance to become a key operational partner to the business owner. Your administrative expertise will remove backend burdens and empower the owner to focus on revenue-generating activities, client services, and long-term expansion plans—including future salon locations.
As the Squarespace Website and Content Coordinator, you will serve as the operational backbone of the business. This role offers meaningful variety and direct impact—your contributions will keep operations efficient, elevate the brand’s marketing presence, and support ongoing business growth. You’ll work fully remote using a modern tech stack while partnering closely with a dedicated business owner passionate about scaling her beauty enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update the business website on Squarespace, ensuring content is accurate and up-to-date
- Create engaging blog posts that support SEO and customer engagement
- Handle email management and respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly
- Maintain calendars for events, promotions, and business activities
- Execute email marketing campaigns that drive bookings and revenue
- Update the team’s Notion platform with weekly notes, promotions, and operational updates
- Coordinate promotional content and ensure marketing materials are accurate and timely
- Support Instagram scheduling and social content coordination via Meta Business Suite
- Maintain content calendars and track promotional activities for maximum effectiveness
- Provide general administrative support to free the business owner for client-facing and strategic tasks
Requirements
- Experience managing and updating websites on Squarespace
- Proficiency in Notion for team communication and project organization
- Strong written communication skills for email handling and content creation
- Experience with email marketing platforms and promotional campaigns
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite for social media scheduling
- Administrative experience with calendars, communication, and file organization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Bonus: Background in the beauty or service industry
