Schedule:
- Flexible 20 hours a week, with strict deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Catch up on 8-9 months of bookkeeping backlog dating back to March/April
- Handle transaction categorization and reconciliation in QuickBooks
- Process and organize Venmo and PayPal payment records
- Export payment platform statements and import them into QuickBooks
- Maintain ongoing bookkeeping records and financial organization
- Set up and optimize QuickBooks system for the business
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management
- Proficiency with QuickBooks software
- Experience working with payment platforms like Venmo and PayPal
- Ability to handle transaction categorization and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail for catching up on backlogged records
- Capability to work independently and manage variable transaction volumes
