Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist who understands the unique compliance, performance, and delivery challenges of lead generation within the homeowner financial services space. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing ESPs that are friendly toward high-volume lead generation, optimizing IP reputation, improving inbox deliverability, and crafting conversion-focused messaging.
This role will focus on monetizing our in-house database of millions of homeowner records while managing real-time and drip email campaigns designed to engage, convert, and maximize revenue across our verticals.
Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management
-
Develop, deploy, and optimize daily and drip email campaigns for multiple lead verticals (home refinance, windows, roofing, solar, etc.)

Implement auto-responders for real-time leads to ensure timely engagement and maximize conversion

Segment audiences based on data attributes (loan type, home ownership, credit score, etc.) to personalize campaigns and improve engagement

Deliverability & ESP Management

Select and manage ESPs known to be lead-gen friendly (e.g., Ongage, SMTP.com, Mailgun, etc.)

Warm up new IPs, monitor sender reputation, and troubleshoot deliverability issues

Ensure consistent inbox placement and compliance with CAN-SPAM and TCPA guidelines

Creative & Messaging

Collaborate with design and content teams to develop compelling subject lines, creative, and CTAs tailored for homeowner financial products

A/B test messaging, layout, and send times to maximize open and click-through rates

Analytics & Optimization

Track campaign performance metrics (CTR, open rates, conversion, revenue per send, unsubscribes, etc.)

Measure ROI by lead vertical and continuously optimize campaigns for performance and profitability

Report weekly and monthly on campaign outcomes, insights, and optimization recommendations

Collaboration

Work closely with affiliate and media buying teams to align messaging and ensure consistent consumer journeys across channels

Coordinate with compliance and operations teams to ensure all messaging adheres to state and federal regulations

Requirements:

3–5+ years of hands-on email marketing experience in lead generation or performance marketing

Proven experience managing high-volume campaigns (hundreds of thousands to millions of sends per day)

Strong understanding of ESP platforms and SMTP/IP warming strategies

Deep knowledge of deliverability optimization, list hygiene, and spam trigger avoidance

Experience setting up drip campaigns, real-time responders, and CRM automations

Analytical mindset with proficiency in performance tracking and ROI optimization

Working knowledge of HTML email design, data segmentation, and A/B testing tools

Understanding of compliance requirements (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CCPA)

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
