Job Description:
You’ll be the financial backbone for a dynamic procurement business, ensuring every transaction is accurately tracked and properly categorized. This role offers the perfect blend of routine bookkeeping excellence and e-commerce complexity, where your attention to detail directly impacts business operations. You’ll work with modern accounting software while managing the financial flow of a streamlined but transaction-intensive business model.
Responsibilities:
- Process and categorize high-volume Amazon and AliExpress purchase transactions
- Perform monthly purchase order processing and comprehensive documentation
- Conduct detailed bank statement reconciliation and strategic expense allocation
- Maintain accurate financial records across Xero and MYOB accounting platforms
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensure Australian tax compliance
- Coordinate financial documentation and reporting with client stakeholders
- Manage secure document transfers and maintain organized digital financial archives
- Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Xero and MYOB accounting software systems
- Background working with Australian companies and solid understanding of GST requirements
- Strong proficiency in bank reconciliation and expense categorization methodologies
- Experience managing e-commerce platform transactions, particularly Amazon and AliExpress
- Knowledge of BAS preparation and Australian bookkeeping compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and systematic organizational approach
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Bonus if you have experience with high-volume transaction processing
- It helps if you’re familiar with procurement or agency business models
