The Role

We’re looking for an experienced CPA (trained in U.S. accounting practices) to build, lead, and scale BruntWork Bookkeeping from the ground up.

You’ll combine hands-on accounting expertise with strategic leadership — setting up systems, hiring teams, and building a best-in-class offshore operation. Think of this as your chance to run your own firm inside BruntWork, backed by our infrastructure, sales pipeline, and global brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the Division: Design the operating framework, service model, and delivery systems for BruntWork Bookkeeping.
• Lead the Team: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team of offshore bookkeepers and accountants.
• Ensure Excellence: Oversee financial accuracy, GAAP compliance, and on-time delivery for every client account.
• Own Client Success: Be the CPA face of the division — advising clients and building long-term trust.
• Drive Growth: Partner with BruntWork’s leadership and sales teams to turn inbound demand into recurring revenue.
• Scale Operations: Develop SOPs, automation, and quality controls that enable rapid but sustainable growth.

What You Bring

• Active CPA license (U.S. or U.S.-recognized equivalent)
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and bookkeeping systems (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
• Proven success in leading teams and building scalable accounting operations
• Well-seasoned in accounting and finance, with hands-on understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and reporting
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills — able to inspire teams and build client confidence
• Entrepreneurial mindset — thrives in startup environments and owns outcomes
