Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 am - 7 pm EST with 1 hour unpaid break
Total weekly hours: 40 hours
Responsibilities:
- Log into and operate sales dialer system to make outbound calls
- Contact veterans who have previously expressed interest in life insurance information
- Follow provided scripts while maintaining natural conversation flow
- Handle objections, rejections, and hesitations professionally during calls
- Set appointments and schedule prospects on calendar for sales team
- Potentially conduct live transfers to sales representatives when appropriate
- Maintain consistent calling activity throughout work schedule
- Track and report on call metrics and appointment setting performance
Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills with minimal accent preferred
- Previous sales and customer service background essential
- Experience with appointment setting and understanding of sales processes
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain positive attitude during cold calling
- Familiarity with financial services or insurance industry preferred
- Comfortable using dialer systems and basic computer applications
- Professional phone presence and ability to build rapport quickly
- Resilience and persistence for high-volume calling activities
