Job Description
We’re seeking a dedicated Customer Support Representative to join our growing e-commerce team and become the friendly, helpful voice our customers rely on. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction while supporting our business growth. You’ll handle customer inquiries via email, assist with order-related questions, and help resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care. This position offers the perfect blend of independence and collaboration, as you’ll work autonomously while having direct access to the business owner for guidance and escalation when needed. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails (approximately 15 daily, with growth potential)
- Assist customers with order tracking inquiries and provide detailed status updates
- Process refund requests efficiently and coordinate smooth return procedures
- Generate and send prepaid return labels to facilitate customer returns
- Troubleshoot various customer inquiries and provide effective solutions
- Escalate complex issues or special cases to the business owner when appropriate
- Maintain consistent, helpful, and professional communication with all customers
- Meet established response timeframes (within one business day)
- Follow company procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of customer service processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer support or customer service roles
- Excellent written English communication skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online retail processes
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures
- Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to business-specific processes
- Available to work Eastern Time schedule with afternoon/evening availability preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time
