Scope:
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm Arizona Time
- Primarily administrative and clerical tasks with some basic legal document preparation
- Direct reporting to law firm management
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize critical legal documents with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare initial drafts of disclosure statements using established templates
- Assist in case preparations, ensuring all necessary information is compiled and readily accessible
- Handle administrative tasks related to legal cases, including filing and data entry
- Manage phone calls and communications, serving as a key point of contact for clients and team members
- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure smooth case progression and timely document submission
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of work
Requirements:
- Familiarity with legal terminology and basic legal processes, particularly in personal injury law
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort with learning new legal software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with remote work tools and technologies
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in legal administration or related field preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in legal work
