Job Description
As a Telemarketer, you’ll be the vital first connection between our client and construction companies seeking essential safety solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with business decision-makers, introduce life-changing safety services, and play a crucial part in expanding access to workplace safety consulting. Responsibilities
- Conduct professional outbound calls to construction and civil engineering companies throughout the Sydney market
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations about their health and safety compliance needs and challenges
- Set qualified appointments for comprehensive safety consulting services including risk assessments and system implementations
- Share relevant information about safety compliance solutions and regulatory requirements with interested prospects
- Execute strategic follow-up campaigns to nurture relationships and guide prospects through the appointment scheduling process
- Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and appointment outcomes to optimize outreach effectiveness
- Collaborate with the consulting team to ensure smooth handoffs and successful appointment conversions
Requirements
- Exceptional English communication skills with clear, professional phone presence that builds immediate trust and credibility
- Previous telemarketing, appointment setting, or business development experience strongly preferred
- Natural ability to engage in consultative conversations about complex business needs and safety requirements
- Strong relationship management skills with persistence in follow-up activities and prospect nurturing
- Familiarity or comfort level working with construction and civil engineering industry professionals
- Professional demeanor combined with genuine enthusiasm for connecting businesses with valuable safety solutions
