Job Description

We’re seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to drive our client’s digital marketing efforts across multiple platforms. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging content, managing community interactions, and executing paid advertising campaigns that generate real business results. You’ll work closely with an established insurance professional who provides raw content and strategic direction, while you bring the technical expertise and creative flair to transform their vision into compelling social media presence. This position offers the perfect blend of creative content development, strategic marketing, and direct client engagement, with excellent potential for growth as the business expands.

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule 5 engaging social media posts per week across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Transform raw video content into polished, professional social media assets using video editing skills
  • Manage community engagement by promptly responding to comments, messages, and inquiries from potential clients
  • Guide interested prospects toward contacting the office and facilitate lead generation coordination
  • Design, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across social media platforms
  • Analyze performance metrics using Meta Business Suite and other analytics tools to drive continuous improvement
  • Schedule content for optimal engagement, particularly during early morning hours (7-8 AM Pacific)
  • Provide strategic recommendations for content optimization and platform-specific best practices
  • Ensure all content meets strict insurance industry compliance standards and brand guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management with a track record of driving engagement and results
  • Strong video editing capabilities and proficiency with editing software
  • Hands-on experience with paid social media advertising and campaign optimization
  • Expertise in social media analytics platforms, especially Meta Business Suite
  • Understanding of compliance requirements in regulated industries (insurance experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills for community management and client interaction
  • Strategic mindset with ability to provide data-driven recommendations and insights
  • Self-motivated professional who can work independently while maintaining high standards
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools and content management systems
