Marketing Assistant

Job Description

We’re seeking a Marketing Assistant to serve as the central coordinator for our multi-agency marketing operations. You’ll work directly with the CEO to optimize digital marketing campaigns across Meta ads, Google ads, email marketing, and SEO. This role combines analytical thinking with creative execution, offering the opportunity to analyze performance data, ensure profitable campaigns, and create engaging content for a brand that’s at the forefront of the cannabis wellness movement. You’ll play a crucial role in streamlining marketing operations while having the freedom to contribute creatively during downtime.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communications and projects with multiple specialized marketing agencies (email marketing, Meta ads, Google ads, SEO)
  • Analyze campaign performance data to ensure profitability and optimize ROAS
  • Calculate and monitor key marketing metrics including ROI and cost of goods sold
  • Maintain comprehensive spreadsheets tracking marketing performance across all channels
  • Download and analyze order data from Google Adwords and other advertising platforms
  • Create engaging visual content using Canva and edit videos for marketing campaigns
  • Manage email marketing coordination through Klaviyo platform
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to leadership team
  • Support the CEO in day-to-day marketing operations and strategic decision-making
  • Develop creative content during downtime to support brand growth

 

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical and Excel skills for digital marketing analytics and reporting
  • Proven experience with major marketing platforms (Meta ads, Google ads, email marketing tools)
  • Creative abilities in Canva and video editing software
  • Genuine interest in or openness to learning about CBD, hemp, cannabis, cannabinoids, and terpenes
  • Excellent English communication skills with clear, professional speaking ability
  • Proactive, assertive communication style suitable for collaborating with American teams
  • Background in social media management and content creation
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail for performance tracking
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with leadership
  • Long-term commitment and interest in growing with the company
