Job Description

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Appointment Setter to play a crucial role in our client’s recruitment efforts within the financial services industry. You’ll be the first point of contact for qualified financial advisors and representatives, introducing them to exciting career opportunities and setting the stage for meaningful conversations about their professional future. Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional outbound calls to financial advisors and representatives from a curated database of qualified prospects
  • Engage prospects with compelling conversations about career opportunities within the financial services sector
  • Schedule appointments for interested candidates to discuss joining the broker dealer platform
  • Manage follow-up communications with prospects who request callbacks or additional information
  • Maintain accurate records using Excel spreadsheets to track contact outcomes and appointment success
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and refine calling scripts and sales processes
  • Build rapport with financial professionals and represent the company’s values during all interactions

 

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, or similar outbound calling roles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage prospects professionally and persuasively over the phone
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity standards
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, particularly Excel spreadsheet management
  • Self-motivated individual who thrives in a commission-based compensation environment
  • Flexibility to work during standard business hours with schedule autonomy
  • Professional demeanor when representing the company to potential recruits in the financial services industry
