Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to combine research, relationship building, and strategic outreach in a growing business that makes a real impact on both corporate transitions and environmental sustainability. You’ll be at the forefront of business development, using your communication skills to create win-win situations for all parties involved. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying and connecting with companies that are relocating or closing their offices, helping them monetize their high-end furniture assets while building inventory of quality pieces for resale.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify companies that are moving, relocating, or closing offices using the Commercial Observer website and other news sources
- Conduct strategic outbound email campaigns through the Close CRM system targeting office managers, facilities managers, and HR personnel
- Follow up with prospects via phone calls to build relationships and discuss furniture acquisition opportunities
- Manage and update prospect information in the Close CRM system with attention to detail
- Execute sequential email campaigns (1-3 emails) to nurture leads through the acquisition process
- Conduct targeted outreach to office managers across New York to build awareness and create future opportunities
- Qualify prospects and coordinate furniture evaluations and acquisition discussions
Requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills for professional phone and email interactions
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize Close CRM system
- Strong phone communication and relationship-building abilities with business professionals
- Self-motivated with analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Experience with B2B outreach preferred but comprehensive training will be provided
- Comfortable conducting research and lead generation activities
- Interest in sustainability and helping businesses through transitions
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for professional calls
