Job Description for Digital Marketing Assistant with Design Support

 

Responsibilities:

• Create quick design projects and flyers using Canva based on client sketches and requirements

• Import and utilize client brand assets within Canva for consistent branding

• Handle “spot work” design requests that come in from clients on an ad-hoc basis

• Assist with client check-ins and follow-up communications

• Support onboarding processes for new clients

• Manage administrative tasks related to client projects

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Canva and graphic design tools

• Experience doing reels and short-format videos 

• Social Media management experience required

• Strong communication skills for client interactions

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple small projects

• Experience with brand consistency and design principles

• Administrative and organizational skills

Scope:

• Requiring 20 hours per week minimum

• Mix of design work and administrative support

• Supporting approximately 6 active social media clients

• Quick turnaround design projects as needed

• Client communication and relationship management support
