We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to work directly with the CEO to manage and clean up our financial records using QuickBooks Online (QBO). This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone confident in categorizing expenses, reconciling accounts, and working with spreadsheets to ensure financial accuracy and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Bank Statement Cleanup & Reconciliation

Clean and reconcile transactions from March 2023 to present

Export bank statements to Excel and identify business-related expenses

Accurately enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks
QuickBooks Management

Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records

Reconcile all bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis

Properly categorize expenses such as ingredients, labor, and packaging
Receipt Organization

Retrieve receipts from email and save them to organized Google Drive folders

Correctly label receipts and match them with QuickBooks transactions
Invoicing & Accounts Payable

Record, monitor, and track invoices
-
Follow up on unpaid invoices and send reminders

Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing
Reporting & Tax Support

Prepare and share weekly P&L and cash flow reports

Identify unusual spending patterns or missing information

Assist the CPA with tax preparation and compliance tasks
Qualifications

Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO certification a plus)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Experience working with small business clients

Excellent communication and time management skills

Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
