Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced health insurance brokerage as a Virtual Assistant specializing in insurance lead management and customer outreach. You’ll play a crucial role in the company’s growth by managing high-volume lead calling activities, qualifying potential customers, and helping families secure important health insurance coverage. Starting with shared insurance leads, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and potentially expand into advanced CRM-based lead generation activities. Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound calls to insurance leads using proven scripts and qualification processes
- Work with shared insurance leads to maximize conversion opportunities through persistent and professional follow-up
- Handle responses from mass text campaigns and coordinate appointment scheduling
- Qualify prospects by determining their insurance needs and eligibility
- Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions and outcomes
- Follow established calling procedures to ensure consistent results and professional representation
- Participate in performance tracking and meet established KPIs for call volume and lead conversion
- Collaborate with the business owner to optimize calling strategies and improve results
- Potential future expansion into CRM-based self-generation activities as skills develop
Requirements
- 1-2 years of proven experience in telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting, or similar outbound sales roles
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural conversation flow
- Experience working with CRM systems and lead management platforms
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume calling activities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with shared leads and competing effectively for prospect attention
- Professional phone manner with excellent English communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
