Responsibilities
- Organize and input two years of backlogged financial data and expenses to ensure tax compliance
- Create and maintain comprehensive spreadsheets for ongoing financial tracking and reporting
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using FreshBooks software platform
- Establish efficient, organized financial processes and systems for future scalability
- Work closely with the business owner to ensure all financial records meet tax preparation requirements
- Provide regular updates on progress and financial organization milestones
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with FreshBooks software and ability to navigate its invoicing and proposal features
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills for data organization and financial tracking
- Experience working with construction or service industry businesses preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently organize large volumes of financial data
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with business owner on financial priorities
