Job Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to manage and optimize our client’s extensive content library across Pinterest and Facebook platforms. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with a vast collection of professional food photography and videos, focusing on strategic content scheduling and platform optimization. You’ll play a crucial role in driving website traffic through effective social media management, with a particular emphasis on Pinterest optimization. This position is perfect for someone who combines strong organizational skills with social media expertise and has a passion for digital content management in the food and culinary space.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily content scheduling on Pinterest, managing 8-15 photos and 1-2 videos per day
  • Implement strategic Pinterest board organization, including creation, tagging, and SEO optimization
  • Coordinate Facebook content distribution and scheduling
  • Manage and organize extensive photo and video content library
  • Apply Pinterest SEO best practices to maximize content visibility and drive website traffic
  • Maintain and optimize content scheduling calendar across platforms
  • Monitor content performance and adjust strategies for maximum engagement
  • Collaborate with the content creator to ensure optimal content distribution
  • Apply basic template modifications when needed for platform optimization

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in social media management, with strong Pinterest expertise
  • Proven understanding of Pinterest best practices, SEO principles, and traffic generation strategies
  • Proficiency in content scheduling tools and social media management platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage large content libraries
  • Experience in optimizing content for maximum visibility and engagement
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong English language communication skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and computer setup
  • Experience with food or lifestyle content preferred but not required
