Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic team and help drive our social media presence to new heights. In this role, you’ll work directly with the founder to manage and optimize our social media channels, engaging with our community of parents and caregivers. This position offers the perfect blend of creative work and strategic thinking, all while representing a brand that brings joy to families through thoughtfully designed products.
Responsibilities
- Execute social media posting strategy across multiple platforms using provided content
- Manage community engagement and respond to audience interactions
- Maintain consistent posting schedules and content calendars
- Track social media metrics and engagement rates
- Assist with basic administrative tasks related to social media management
- Participate in regular check-ins with the founder to align on strategy
- Help maintain brand voice and aesthetic across all social channels
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management and community engagement
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with social media management tools and scheduling platforms
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office setup
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication
- Comfortable with signing NDA and completing security training
- Experience with e-commerce or retail brands preferred
- Ability to work effectively in New Zealand time zone
