Join a dynamic experiential marketing and events company where you can take full ownership of essential accounting operations. Working directly with leadership, you will utilize your NetSuite expertise to streamline financial processes and bring structure to a steadily growing, high-impact business.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day; flexible between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite
• Handle manual journal entries for non-customer and non-vendor payments
• Execute sales tax reconciliation and ensure proper accounting with Avalara integration
• Code and enter invoices into NetSuite for accounts payable processing
• Maintain and optimize existing NetSuite accounting workflows
• Support implementation of automated bill capture features
• Collaborate with staff accountant and leadership on financial reporting
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual accounting processes

Requirements

• Strong experience with NetSuite accounting software (essential)
• Solid bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals with attention to detail
• Experience handling reconciliations and journal entries accurately
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice management
• Understanding of sales tax accounting and reconciliation procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Bonus if you have experience with Avalara or similar tax software
• It helps if you’ve worked with events or marketing companies before
