Job Description: You’ll be the voice of a dynamic gaming technology company, helping fellow gamers and tech enthusiasts navigate their computer needs. You’ll join an existing remote team and make an immediate impact supporting customers during peak business periods.
This role requires strong gaming computer knowledge, hands-on experience with current gaming hardware, and solid troubleshooting skills to support users remotely. Candidates should be comfortable discussing NVIDIA graphics cards, gaming CPUs, component compatibility, and common PC performance or hardware issues. Excellent English communication skills and availability to work full-time during Australian business hours are essential. Prior experience in technical customer service or the gaming industry is considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer emails and support tickets with technical expertise and enthusiasm
- Provide real-time live chat support to customers browsing and purchasing gaming systems
- Handle inbound phone calls from customers seeking technical assistance and product recommendations
- Troubleshoot gaming computer issues and guide customers through solutions
- Assist customers with product selection based on their specific gaming requirements and budgets
- Test and validate gaming component compatibility for customer builds
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest gaming hardware trends and releases
- Collaborate with existing team members to ensure seamless customer experience
Requirements:
- Gaming computer knowledge and experience (personal hobby or professional background both valued)
- Ability to discuss current gaming hardware (NVIDIA graphics cards, gaming CPUs, component compatibility)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for gaming-related computer issues
- Fluent English communication with excellent verbal and written skills
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Availability to work full-time during Australian business hours
- Bonus if you have previous customer service experience in tech or gaming industries
- It helps if you’re familiar with gaming software and performance optimization
