Job Description: You’ll play a crucial role in transforming raw 4K footage into compelling, polished videos that reach wide audiences across YouTube and social media platforms. Working with premium content for major brands, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your editing skills while helping scale a growing content creation business. You’ll take ownership of the entire editing process, from raw footage to final delivery, creating content that drives engagement and results for high-profile clients.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, flexible schedule during client business hours

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw 4K footage into complete YouTube videos in 16:9 format
• Create social media cuts and adaptations from existing YouTube content
• Transform content for both vertical and horizontal formats to maximize platform optimization
• Work with high-quality B-roll footage and manage large file transfers efficiently
• Edit content for multiple client brands with varying styles and requirements
• Collaborate on video projects with quick turnaround times
• Potentially assist with content posting across various social media channels
• Maintain consistent quality standards across all video deliverables

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential for effective communication about edits and changes)
• Experience editing 4K video content and managing large file sizes
• Understanding of different video formats and social media platform requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail for high-quality output that meets brand standards
• Reliable internet connection for large file transfers
• Bonus if you have experience with social media content strategy
• It helps if you have experience working with automotive or consumer brand content

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
