Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated B2B Appointment Setter to be the first point of contact between the company and potential clients. In this role, you will cold call commercial building owners, property managers, and facility directors to introduce our energy services at a high level and schedule discovery meetings with our senior sales team.
This is not a closing role—you will not negotiate pricing or dive into deep technical discussions. Your primary mission is to engage qualified decision-makers and secure meetings.
Client Overview
The client is an innovative energy solutions provider offering solar panel, solar carport, HVAC cooling retrofits, and power system expansions to commercial and industrial properties in the United States. They specialize in zero-upfront-cost financing models, allowing building owners to upgrade their energy systems and pay through the energy savings generated.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PT)
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Independent Contractor Perks
- Base salary: $5.00/hour (USD)
- Per-meeting bonus: $50 for every qualified meeting scheduled
- Deal commission: 2–8% of total contract value when meetings convert to signed deals
- First 5 deals cash bonus: $3,000 + $2,000 + $1,500 + $1,000 + $500 = $8,000 total
Responsibilities
- Make 80–120 outbound cold calls per day to targeted prospect lists
- Engage decision-makers including C-level executives, VPs of Facilities, Property Managers, and Building Owners
- Clearly and confidently explain the company’s offerings in 60 seconds or less
- Handle objections and gatekeepers professionally and persistently
- Qualify prospects based on building size, energy spend, and decision-making authority
- Schedule discovery meetings and record all activity in the CRM system
- Follow up with prospects who showed interest but did not commit immediately

- Solar Panel & Solar Carport Solutions – Reduce utility bills by 30–60% for commercial buildings
- Cooling System Retrofits (HVAC) – Upgrade systems to cut energy consumption and improve reliability
- Power System Expansion – Upgrade electrical panels and switchgear to support growing power demands

Requirements
Must-Have:
- 1–2 years of B2B cold calling or outbound appointment setting experience
- Fluent or near-native English for speaking with C-level executives in the US
- Professional phone presence: confident, articulate, persuasive
- Comfortable making 80–120 calls per day and handling rejection
- Ability to work US Pacific Time hours
- Reliable internet, quiet workspace, computer, and headset
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar)
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in energy, solar, HVAC, construction, or facility services
- Experience calling enterprise or mid-market companies
- Familiarity with commercial real estate or property management
