Junior Marketer/Admin Assistant – Creative Arts Studio

Work Schedule: Working with AEST (Brisbane), Monday- Friday from 10am-4pm
20 hours across the week can be flexible as long at least 2 hours per day are completed for answering emails on the daily. All other work can be completed at any times that fit into your schedule.

Job Description: You’ll be the communication hub for a thriving creative studio, managing customer inquiries and bringing marketing materials to life. This hybrid role combines the satisfaction of helping customers discover their creative potential with the opportunity to contribute to visual marketing that showcases beautiful pottery experiences. You’ll work directly with studio owners who value efficient communication and understand the importance of timely, personalized customer service in building lasting relationships with their creative community.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage email inquiries for pottery classes and studio services with personalized, timely responses
  • Handle private event booking requests, customizing responses for pottery experiences, painting sessions, and corporate workshops
  • Provide customer service support and resolve occasional complaints with professionalism
  • Create engaging marketing materials including flyers and posters using Canva
  • Follow up with customers to ensure smooth booking processes and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain organized communication workflows to improve response times and customer experience
  • Support digital marketing efforts through basic creative content that showcases studio offerings
  • Collaborate with studio staff to ensure seamless customer journey from inquiry to experience

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in administrative support and/or junior marketing roles
  • Proficiency with Canva for creating marketing materials and visual content
  • Strong written communication skills with ability to customize responses for different customer needs
  • Experience in customer service and complaint resolution
  • Ability to manage multiple types of inquiries simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Bonus if you have experience with creative or experiential businesses
  • It helps if you’re familiar with event coordination or booking management systems
