Client Engagement & Social Media Officer

Schedule: 

20 hours per week

Monday to Friday, flexible between 9AM to 5PM Osborne Park WA

Client Overview: A dynamic performing arts production company specializing in circus performances and creative events. They’ve built an impressive content library with hundreds of stunning photos and videos but need marketing expertise to bring their visual storytelling to life. Operating in Perth’s competitive arts scene, they’re looking to expand their reach and build momentum year-round.

Job Description: You’ll take ownership of transforming incredible visual content into compelling marketing campaigns that capture audiences and drive business growth. This role offers creative freedom to work with a visually stunning brand while building meaningful client relationships in the unique world of performing arts. You’ll have direct access to the company owner and autonomy to shape marketing strategy for a business that values artistic excellence and authentic storytelling.

Responsibilities:

  • Convert existing photos and videos into engaging, shareable content across multiple platforms
  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies tailored to seasonal business cycles
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the performing arts industry
  • Generate qualified leads and identify potential new clients through targeted outreach
  • Create and send personalized email campaigns and marketing packages to prospects
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients through strategic follow-up
  • Perform basic video and photo editing to enhance visual content quality
  • Design marketing campaigns that align with the company’s established aesthetic and branding
  • Adapt marketing intensity based on seasonal demand patterns (peak summer, strategic winter building)
  • Collaborate directly with leadership to refine messaging and positioning strategies

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of marketing experience with proven ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong social media management skills across multiple platforms with content creation expertise
  • Experience with basic video and photo editing tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and direct client outreach campaigns
  • Excellent written communication skills for email marketing and client correspondence
  • Understanding of seasonal business dynamics and marketing adaptation strategies
  • Bonus if you have general awareness of the arts and entertainment industry
  • It helps if you have dance or movement background to better evaluate artistic content quality
  • You bring creative problem-solving skills and aesthetic sensibility
  • Bonus if you have experience working with small businesses or creative entrepreneurs
