Job Overview 
This role is focused on high-volume outbound calling to generate qualified appointments for a U.S.-based advertising client. The specialist will engage small and mid-sized businesses in Ohio, quickly deliver a concise pitch for grocery store advertising solutions, and schedule 30-minute calls with decision makers. Success in this position depends on maintaining strong call activity, clear communication, and accurate tracking of outreach and appointments within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. 

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern with an hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to local businesses using a power dialer to generate appointment opportunities
• Identify and connect with decision makers at small and mid-sized businesses in the Columbus, Ohio market
• Schedule qualified 30-minute phone appointments on the client's calendar using a shared calendar link
• Deliver a concise, interest-based pitch for local grocery store advertising products within 30 to 60 seconds per call
• Track call outcomes and maintain organized records of contacts, callbacks, and scheduled appointments
• Efficiently move through call lists without spending time on objection handling or hard closes

Requirements

• Prior experience in outbound cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting
• Neutral or minimal accent with strong conversational English fluency
• Ability to maintain a high call volume and stay motivated in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment
• Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional phone presence
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• High level of attention to detail when scheduling and confirming appointments

Scope

• Cold calling local businesses in Ohio to set appointments for in-store advertising products including shopping cart ads, receipt ads, and digital geofencing ads
• Operating within U.S. Eastern Time business hours
• Using client-provided power dialer software and call lists
• Coordinating scheduling through a shared online calendar system
• Performance-based bonuses available on top of base hourly rate tied to appointments set.
