Job Overview
This is a part-time role combining bookkeeping responsibilities with administrative data entry tasks to support business operations. The position requires 20 hours per week with potential to expand based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have bookkeeping expertise and be open to handling supplemental administrative tasks to round out their hours.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST (20 hours per week, schedule flexible)

Responsibilities

Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks including account reconciliation and closing the books. Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Migrate existing financial data to QuickBooks or Xero and maintain ongoing records in the platform.

Clean and organize financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance for year-end CPA review.

Manage data entry tasks including updating CRM systems with client information such as passport details and frequent flyer numbers.

Perform manual data refreshes and transfers across cloud-based project management tools and data sources.

Maintain organized records and ensure all client information is properly stored in designated systems.
Requirements

Proven experience in bookkeeping for US-based companies including monthly closing processes.

Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.

Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy. Willingness to perform administrative and data entry tasks in addition to bookkeeping duties.
Nice to have:
