Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive bookkeeping using D-tools software for project management and financial tracking
  • Maintain accurate financial records and transactions in QuickBooks
  • Execute project-based accrual accounting entries and adjustments with precision
  • Complete historical cleanup and corrections of existing financial records
  • Manage ongoing weekly bookkeeping maintenance and updates
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate directly with business owner on financial processes and improvements
  • Establish sustainable bookkeeping workflows for continued business growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks software (essential)
  • Strong background in project-based accrual accounting
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Bonus: experience with D-tools software (training can be provided)
  • Bonus: experience in construction or home improvement industry accounting

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
