Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Generation & Data Research Specialist to support the growth of a rapidly expanding Australian software company. In this role, you will build the company’s sales pipeline from the ground up by identifying and researching high-potential prospects. This is more than simple data entry — you will evaluate business fit, analyze online presence, and ensure high-quality lead data that directly contributes to sales success. Their innovative platform automates Google reviews, social media management, and directory listings for skincare and cosmetic clinics across Australia. You will support their expansion by identifying and researching high-potential prospects within this thriving industry.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 4:00 hours per day (20 work hours per week) – Australian Eastern Time (Sydney)

Potential to expand to 30 hours per week, including social media content creation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify skincare and cosmetic clinics through strategic Google searches using specific business criteria
  • Evaluate prospects based on review count, website quality, and booking software compatibility
  • Extract and verify comprehensive business contact information including owner details, phone numbers, and email addresses
  • Enter detailed prospect data into HubSpot CRM system following established formats and standards
  • Capture screenshots of businesses’ Google search appearances for competitive analysis
  • Write insightful notes about each business’s online presence and potential fit
  • Organize qualified prospects into targeted lists for sales team follow-up
  • Follow detailed instructions and quality standards to ensure data accuracy
  • Maintain consistent productivity during 4-hour daily work blocks
  • Adapt research strategies based on feedback and evolving business criteria

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to follow specific instructions consistently without supervision
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems such as HubSpot
  • Strong online research skills
  • Reliable internet connection for web-based research and CRM access
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus during concentrated research sessions

Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems or lead generation is a plus
  • Familiarity with the Australian business landscape or healthcare/beauty industries is an advantage

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
