eCommerce Operations Specialist

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Eastern Time
Employment Type: Part-Time (Remote)

An established online retail business in the outdoor adventure sports category—offering products across surfing, ski/snowboard, mountain biking, climbing, and more—is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented eCommerce Operations Specialist. This role supports key functions across Amazon operations, inventory management, pricing, product listings, and light customer service.

We work with more than 25 outdoor brands and manage over 2,300 active SKUs. Accuracy, consistency, and strong analytical skills are essential, especially when handling inventory, reorders, and data across multiple platforms.


Key Responsibilities

1. Reorders & Inventory Planning

  • Pull and consolidate data from Amazon and reorder software (SoStocked).

  • Transfer, organize, and update reorder data using Google Sheets.

  • Adjust reorder quantities based on sales history, supplier constraints, and internal logic.

  • Submit reorders through supplier portals or spreadsheets.

2. Inventory Management & Warehouse Coordination

  • Input inbound shipments into third-party prep warehouse systems.

  • Verify quantities and buy costs using invoices and supplier data.

  • Assist with creating inbound shipments/batches to Amazon FBA.

  • Maintain accuracy across multiple warehouse software systems.

3. Pricing Management

  • Update product pricing using a repricing tool (Informed.co).

  • Ensure price changes reflect strategy and maintain competitiveness.

4. Product Listing Maintenance

  • Update listing pages on Amazon, including variations, attributes, and content.

  • Perform flat-file uploads for bulk edits when needed.

  • Make changes to titles, bullets, images, and product descriptions.

5. Customer Support

  • Respond to customer messages professionally and promptly.

  • Research product information when needed to provide accurate answers.

6. Account Management Support

  • Open cases with Amazon Seller Central.

  • Resolve FBA issues, removals, discrepancies, and account health tasks.

7. Product Research & Brand Expansion

  • Review potential new products from existing or new brands.

  • Assist in collecting information for product viability assessments.

8. Website Product Updates (Shopify)

  • Add new products to the Shopify website, including images, copy, and pricing.

  • Maintain consistent formatting and brand presentation.


Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Google Sheets and/or Excel (formulas, organization, reliability).

  • Experience in Amazon Seller Central or eCommerce operations highly preferred.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and follow detailed workflows.

  • Good written communication skills for customer responses.

  • Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently.
